Work with me

When the usual answers aren't working.

I work with founders, executive teams, product leaders, and organizations who need clarity, strategic perspective, and practical support.

People usually call me when something is stuck. It often sounds like this:

  • You’ve doubled in size, and decisions that used to take a hallway conversation now take three meetings and still don’t stick.
  • The executive team agrees on the strategy in the room, then pulls in different directions outside it.
  • Leadership approved a strategy, but no one can explain how it changes what teams work on Monday.
  • The founder is still the bottleneck on every product call, and it’s time to build a real product organization.
  • You rolled out a new operating model, like OKRs, squads, or a product framework, and the work looks the same as before.
  • A reorg, merger, or acquisition has left teams unsure who owns what.
  • You’re about to make a big bet, like a new market, a platform rebuild, or an AI investment, and want it pressure-tested first.

I don’t arrive with a framework to install. I help you get clear on the decision in front of you, who needs to make it, and what it will take to follow through.

How we might work together

The right approach depends on what you’re trying to figure out. Sometimes that means working through a specific decision. Other times, it means staying involved as a team or organization works through a larger challenge.

Advisory

Advisory and strategic partnership

I work with founders, executives, and product leaders who want an experienced perspective on product strategy, organizational challenges, or important decisions.

That might mean evaluating an opportunity, challenging assumptions, working through competing priorities, or figuring out what needs to change to make progress.

Sometimes the most valuable thing I can offer is a different perspective and a willingness to ask the questions that aren’t being asked.

Coaching

Leadership coaching

I work with product managers and leaders who are navigating new responsibilities, difficult organizational dynamics, or the challenges of leading through ambiguity.

Our conversations are grounded in the situations you’re actually dealing with, whether that’s influencing executives, developing your team, making difficult tradeoffs, or figuring out how to be more effective in your role.

This isn’t about applying a prescribed leadership model. It’s about developing your judgment and finding approaches that work for you and your organization.

Facilitation

Workshops and facilitation

Sometimes the challenge isn’t a lack of ideas. It’s getting the right people to work through the difficult questions together.

I facilitate sessions focused on product strategy, priorities, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

The goal is to move beyond discussion and leave with a clearer understanding of what matters, what needs to happen next, and who’s responsible.

Consulting

Product and technology consulting

Through Ready Steady, I also partner with organizations that need more hands-on product and technology support.

That can include product discovery, strategy, product development, leadership support, and helping teams move important initiatives forward.

What it’s like to work with me

“Lisa has an unmatched talent for cutting through the noise and distractions that often cloud decision-making. In situations where a product vision or strategy is absent, she brings clarity and focus with an ease that seems almost second nature. Her insights consistently point to the best course of action—solutions that others often overlook until she sheds light on them.

One of Lisa’s greatest strengths is her ability to ask the right questions. From the very first conversation, she challenges you with, ‘What problem are you trying to solve?’ It’s a simple question, but one that prompts a deeper understanding of the issue at hand. Under her guidance, you gain both clarity and a clear path forward.”
